About Us
I'm Joany Gutierrez and I've been working in the electrical trade since 1999, starting in the residential sector before later moving to commercial and industrial applications.
I founded New Era Electric in 2006 and as President of the company, focus on Roadway applications from new installations to maintenance services.
At New Era Electric we have worked with Miami International Airport, South Florida Water Management District and Miami-Dade County as well as provided services to the City of Florida City, ADT, QSI, Emcon, DWM, CLS, Boss Facility Maintenance and more.
Roadway Lighting
Roadway lighting serves as an important safety feature for busy streets and highways where visibility is essential. Roadway lights can also signal the difference between a pedestrian and a car zone. The lighting can help drivers be aware of their surroundings and provide well-illuminated safety for pedestrians.

An intelligent transportation system (ITS) is an advanced application which aims to provide innovative services relating to different modes of transport and traffic management and enable users to be better informed and make safer, more coordinated, and 'smarter' use of transport networks.
Some of these technologies include calling for emergency services when an accident occurs, using cameras to enforce traffic laws or signs that mark speed limit changes depending on conditions.
